To further advance the "Key Small Matters" initiative of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Xinjiang Branch Youth Theory Group and enhance the standardization of archival management, the Xinjiang Branch organized a specialized training session on archival work on May 16, inviting part-time archivists to participate.
The training conveyed key directives from the CAS branches‘ meeting on improving archival capabilities, emphasizing that archival work serves as a critical foundation for administrative operations and must be prioritized and implemented rigorously. It clarified the responsibilities and objectives of archival tasks for each department, specified key deadlines for filing, and laid a solid foundation for improving the quality, efficiency, and meticulousness of archival work.
Participants systematically studied the “Archives Law of the People’s Republic of China” and its implementing regulations, as well as the “CAS Document Archives Management Standards”, focusing on key aspects of administrative document archiving. Part-time archivists engaged in active discussions based on their practical work experiences. The head of the comprehensive archives office provided detailed solutions to the specific challenges raised by attendees, strengthening their professional understanding and operational skills.
This training is part of Xinjiang Branch’s efforts to deepen the "Key Small Matters" initiative of its Youth Theory Group, reflecting its ongoing commitment to foundational and standardized work through practical action.
