Xinjiang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences recently hosted a symposium titled "Welcoming the Spring Festival, Conversing on Progress".

During the symposium, Chen Xi, secretary of the party committee of Xinjiang branch, expressed gratitude to foreign experts for their contributions to Xinjiang's scientific development. Representatives from the Foreign Experts Bureau and the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau briefed them on relevant policies, including work permits and project applications. Chen Xi emphasized the branch's commitment to international cooperation, talent cultivation, and regional development aligned with the Belt and Road Initiative.

Almost thirty representatives from research institutes participated in the symposium.
