In order to guide and drive all affiliated units to carry out skills competitions extensively, and promote and inherit the spirit of model workers, labor spirit, and craftsmanship spirit, from September to November 2022, the trade union of the Chinese Academy of Sciences held the first staff skills competition across the CAS.

Leaders of Xinjiang Branch attached great importance to this Competition, actively organized relevant skilled personnel to participate in the competition in the field of network operation and maintenance, and achieved excellent results. The branch team fought bravely in the competition of 5 projects, including regulations, standards and system specifications related to network information operation and maintenance, unified planning of network information facilities resources of the Institute, network information service management system at institute level, operation and maintenance management of network information application at institute level, and network information cutting-edge technology, and entered the final circle and finally won the team award. Liu Xu, a staff member of Xinjiang Branch, entered the final circle of individual competition in the fierce competition of 212 players from 114 affiliated units.
