Xinjiang branch held the symposium with researchers to request for comments

On May 19, Xiao Wenjiao, President of CAS Xinjiang Branch, visited the Resource Chemistry Research Laboratory of Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry to have a discussion and exchange ideas with the research staff about the development planning.

During the discussion, the academic leader of the Resource Chemistry Research Laboratory, professor Haji Akber Aisa, introduced the research orientation and general layout of the innovation team, and the core members of the laboratory introduced the relevant work in detail from the construction of key laboratories, strategic biological resources research, engineering center construction, and the operation of the Central Asia Medicine Research and Development Center. Aiming at the national strategic needs of "Healthy China" and "Belt and Road Initiative", the research team will take traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine as the main task, break through barriers of a number of technologies, develop a number of standards, create a number of new medicine, enhance an industry, and continuously promote the modernization, industrialization, standardization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine. In order to provide scientific and technological support for the high quality development of Xinjiang's pharmaceutical industry, we will continue to promote the modernization, industrialization, standardization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine. At the symposium, Xiao Wenjiao and the researchers had in-depth exchanges around the discipline development, talent policy, scientific research evaluation and other aspects.
