Xinjiang branch carry out a series of training on the identification and treatment of high-risk manifestations of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases

In order to further improve the awareness level of health and first aid education, at the end of September, the Xinjiang branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences actively invited the regional health committee to carry out a series of training on the identification and treatment of high-risk manifestations of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, so as to implement the practical activity of "I do practical things for the masses".

"The middle finger of the left hand on the navel, the index finger close to the middle finger, the left hand holds the hollow, the right hand wraps around the left fist. It is called 'rock-paper-scissors', impact 5 times to the top of the back, must be the hollow fist." Ma Xiang, a health science volunteer of the Xinjiang branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, demonstrated the "Heimlich" first aid method at site, attracted the masses of workers of Xinjiang branch to watch and learn.

Ma Xiang conducted one-on-one teaching, meticulously explained the "Heimlich" signs and the different techniques to be taken for different subjects, and conducted on-site demonstrations for adults, children and infants, so that the workers understood the basic principles of first aid.

"I have benefited a lot from this emergency rescue training. I have seen similar activities on TV before, but I have never experienced them personally," said Niu Litao, deputy director of the party masses Department of Xinjiang branch.
