CAS Institute Joins Hands with Central Research Library of Kyrgyz Academy of Sciences to Share Original Scientific Literature Resources

Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography (XIEG) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences signed an agreement with the Central Research Library of National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan on July 30 in Bishkek, to jointly promote integration and sharing of original scientific and technical literature resources.


Started in 2016, the Central Asian and Russian Original Scientific and Technical Literature Resources Integration and Sharing System was a scientific and technical partner program supported by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.


The System aims to serve government departments, research institutions, universities, enterprises and public institutions that have scientific cooperation with Central Asia countries and Russia.


Convenient and fast access to scientific information are available for users when they need related link list for Central Asian and Russian institutions, database, statistics, special reports, and scientific research news reports.


Central Research Library of Kyrgyz Academy of Sciences is one of the biggest libraries of Kyrgyzstan. The library has developed cooperation with Literature Information Center of Xinjiang Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences starting from 2014.


The integration and sharing system is a key component of the information center of "Sino-Central Asia Scientific Cooperation Center". Natural Science Library of Russian Academy of Sciences is the first foreign partner institution of the system.
