On April 23, the Xinjiang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) held a science and technology cooperation meeting and technology exchange event in Moyu County to discuss future collaboration and promote the application of research results in local development.
Maiwulanjiang Maitinuer, Vice President of the CAS Xinjiang Branch, and Wuriguli Aximu, a representative of the Moyu County government, attended the meeting together with experts from several CAS institutes and local officials.
Wuriguli Aximu expressed appreciation for the long-term support provided by CAS experts in areas such as industrial development, agricultural improvement, and technical assistance. She noted that the exchange meeting would help address technical challenges, strengthen innovation capacity, and support local development.
Maiwulanjiang Maitinuer stated that during the current development period, the Xinjiang Branch has carried out 22 science and technology demonstration projects in Moyu County, focusing on specialty industries, technical training, scientific education, and community development. He added that the Xinjiang Branch would continue promoting technology transfer and cooperation activities to support the county's long-term development goals.
After the meeting, Maiwulanjiang Maitinur and his delegation visited agricultural science parks and medicinal herb cultivation sites in Moyu County.
