To advance scientific and technological innovation, the Xinjiang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has launched new initiatives. Deputy Director Maiwulanjiang Maitinuer recently visited the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, the Xinjiang Technical Reasearch Institute of Physics and Chemistry and the Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory to assess progress and meet with researchers.
During the visits, institutions reported on technological initiatives, major national tasks, and achievements under the "14th Five-Year Plan." Discussions also addressed challenges in national laboratories, basic research, and technology transfer.
Deputy Director Maiwulanjiang Maitinuer acknowledged progress and provided recommendations for the work in the future. The visit reflects Xinjiang branch's commitment to promoting innovation and scientific collaboration.
