In order to deepen the scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation with Central Asian counterparts, and to better serve the "Belt and Road" initiative, at the invitation of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences and other relevant scientific research institutions, from September to October, Chen Xi, Director of the Central Asian Ecology and Environment Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Secretary of the Party Group of Xinjiang Branch of CAS, and his colleagues went to Central Asian countries to carry out discussions and exchanges and participate in joint research projects to promote the deepening of scientific and technological cooperation.
