On March 23, Xiao Wenjiao, President of the Xinjiang branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and his team went to Ganquanbao Economic and Technological Development Zone to investigate and exchange. The investigation team visited New Special Energy, Xinjiang Herunshui industry and other enterprises on the spot, focusing on the specific implementation of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals" in new energy, new infrastructure, energy conservation and environmental protection, green building, smart factory, big data, international cooperation and so on. He also had a discussion with relevant responsible persons of the park management committee, Xinjiang chemical industry of National Energy, Xinjiang Zhonghe, Yankuang Xinjiang coal chemical industry and other enterprises.
At the forum, the two sides exchanged views on the implementation of the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals" and the problems, shortcomings, scientific and technological needs and cooperation intentions encountered in the development of enterprises in the park. Tang Shan, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ganquanpu Economic and Technological Development Zone, introduced the overall situation, target orientation, industrial status and development plan of ganquanpu Economic and Technological Development Zone, hoping to strengthen cooperation with Xinjiang branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and support industrial development through scientific and technological innovation. He wished both sides could establish and improve the "1 + 3 + N" mechanism for multi-faceted, multi platform and multi field cooperation and coordinated development, always focusing on the in-depth development and utilization of new energy and superior resources, to take high and new technology as the guide, and aim at building a new National Development Zone in the new era, so as to accelerate the pace of regional economic integration and development.
