On August 4th, although the local pupils were still enjoying their summer vacation, with resounding of the familiar Athlete Marching Song in the early morning, the school began to buzz with exciting pupils. That’s because they would soon get their new multi-media classroom which is donated by the work team of Xinjiang branch.

The work team donated 15 Dell and Lenovo computers and 1 projector in this activity. The construction of the classroom follows the relevant standard and norm, pre-assembled with bi-lingual teaching softwares and can offer PPTs for the class when the teacher wants to teach simultaneously, which fills in the blanket of this elementary school.

Since March 5th, the work team has operated the work of “Visiting, Benefiting and Uniting the People”. A profound understanding of the work team is that primary school is the weak link in the rural work and easily eroded by the religious extremist ideology, so it’s the key of success in the free education in southern Xinjiang. For this reason, the donation work carried out by Xinjiang branch would benefit to the development of elementary education in southern Xinjiang.

Since the moment when the work team reached the village, according to the requirement of the school, the work team has held lots of parent meetings in order to narrow the gap between the school and parents and advocate the thought that knowledge could change the life. Meanwhile, the courtyard of the work team is changed into the second school for the pupils where they could borrow more than one thousand children books from shelves, which belong to the East Wind Project. Through daily borrowing and return of books, the pupils could gradually follow the library rules and form the good habit.
