The location for Xinjiang 110m radio telescope construction

　 May 28th, a inspection group leading by Mr. Erkengjiang, the Standing Member of Xinjiang autonomous region Party Committee and president of Xinjiang General Labor Union, visited and investigated the location for 110m radio telescope construction in Shihezi village Qitai county, and asked to make the previous work of the construction onward smoothly.

　 That morning, Mr. Erkengjiang and the inspection group drove more than 200 kilometers to the location for 110m radio telescope construction project which has been preparing for a long-term and ready to begin construction. Mr. Erkengjiang examined the construction field and the residential construction for the relocate peasants and herdsmen.

　 After the project report made by administrators of Xinjiang astronomical observatory. CAS and Qitai county, Mr.Erkengjiang claimed relative departments of Xinjiang autonomous region to successfully fulfill the previous work such as constructing the road , water pipe, wire , network and leveling the field. He also ask Xinjiang astronomical observatory to speed up the designing, researching and developing work of 110m radio telescope and make sure the telescope would not lag behind after finishing the construction 50 years.

　 The members of  inspection group include Mr. Liu Ha the assistant secretary general of Xinjiang autonomous region government, Mr. Zhao Dezhong the secretary of education department, Mr. Zhang Xiaolei the president of Xinjiang branch, Mr. Fu Chunli the secretary of Xinjiang branch, Mr. Hu Kelin the Vice-president of science and technological department, Mrs. Wang Na the director of Xinjiang astronomical observatory as well as relative leaders of Changji prefecture and Qitai county.
