August 28th, the deputy president of CAS Xinjiang branch Dong Yunshe, who was invited by CAS Beijing branch, attended the mid-term assessment conference of Sci-Tech programs on Alxa sand industry, a cooperation ceremony between CAS and Alxa League.
In Oct 2012, CAS Beijing branch and Alxa League built the psammophyte R&D center, in which two of research institutes of Xinjiang branch attended. The program Reseach on Technology of Breeding Seed Source and Boosting Production of Cistanche Deserticola in Alxa gained the fund support and successfully got through the mid-term assessment.
After the meeting, the leaders and experts went to the cistanche deserticola fields in the base and checked the condition of the enterprise’s R&D and production.
