On the 6^th of March, Xinjiang Branch of CAS held the celebration for International Women’s Day. Over 80 female employees attended to participated in the celebration on the day.

At the beginning, Zhang Xiaolei, President of Xinjiang Branch of CAS, on behalf of Xinjiang Branch, wished the female staff a happy holiday and confirmed women’s contribution to Xinjiang Branch.

All of the participants were invited to the Nanshan Base of Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory, where they had great fun participating in the activities including knowledge contest, red song competition and celestial science watch.
